Everything you track stays on your phone. Sessions, habits, journal entries, reflections โ none of it ever leaves your device. The only company that sees any data is RevenueCat, who handles subscription payments.
1. Introduction
This page explains how we handle your data when you use the Pomogolo app. If you're not comfortable with it, please stop using the app.
2. Data that stays on your device
Everything below is stored locally on your phone. We can't see it, access it, or transmit it:
- Display name (optional, set by you)
- All timer sessions, projects, tags, and to-dos
- Habits and completion logs
- Daily reflections, journal notes, and mood entries
- Goals, time blocks, and app preferences
- Your timezone, detected automatically โ used only for day-boundary calculations, on-device
- A random ID generated by your device to link your local records together โ never sent anywhere
3. Data collected by RevenueCat (payments)
Subscriptions are handled by RevenueCat โ the only third party that receives any data when you use this app. When you buy or restore a subscription, RevenueCat may collect:
- Device identifier
- Advertising identifier (if available and permitted by your device settings)
- Purchase receipts and subscription status
- Country / locale and app version
- IP address (used for fraud prevention)

We don't sell or share your purchase data. We receive only what's needed to validate your subscription status in the app.
4. What we don't collect
None of the following is collected, requested, or visible to us:
- Email address or phone number
- Location data
- Camera or microphone data
- Contacts or calendar data
- Health or fitness data
- Browsing history
- Any user content stored in the app
5. Permissions we ask for
Notifications
Timer alerts, habit reminders, and time-block warnings โ all scheduled locally on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Audio playback
Plays the ambient sounds bundled inside the app. No audio is streamed or recorded.
We don't request camera, microphone, contacts, location, or health permissions.
6. How to delete your data
- In-app: Settings โ Profile โ Reset Data wipes everything immediately.
- Uninstall: Deleting the app removes the local database entirely.
- RevenueCat data: Email [email protected] to request deletion of purchase records RevenueCat holds on our behalf.
7. Children's privacy
This app isn't intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has entered data through the app, please contact us.
8. Security
Because everything stays on your device, there's no server-side database of your content to breach. RevenueCat sends purchase data over encrypted connections (TLS). We share only the minimum data necessary.
9. When this policy changes
We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we update the date above. For significant changes, we update the App Store listing too. Using the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
